At 24, I am now the youngest female Member of the Bundestag. I stood for election to the Bundestag in 11th position on the state list in Baden-Württemberg, as candidate for the outstandingly beautiful constituency of Ravensburg, and as a representative of Green Youth. In this capacity, I would like to stand up for the younger generation and for sustainable policies. After all, it is all about what the world we inhabit will look like in the future. "The world we live in is only on loan from our children" – this saying is truer today than ever before. That is why we need radical climate protection and solidarity-driven policies to promote equality of opportunity and participation. We are the only ones to offer convincing answers for the future. I joined Alliance 90 / The Greens in 2004. Rather than sitting back and complaining, I wanted to get involved and actually help change things. I am particularly attracted to the Greens' peace, foreign and human rights policies. I look forward to four years of creative, effective politics together with you and with the County and District Associations, State and Federal Working Groups and of course Green Youth and the Parliamentary Group.
