Spokesperson on long-term care policy
Spokesperson on old people  policy

I was born and grew up in the Rhine-Main region of Hesse, and was thoroughly politicised and influenced during my youth by the protest movement against the new runway at Frankfurt airport. This was my Green foundation stone, and I have maintained my belief in it to this day. I joined the Greens in 1999, when the most intensive child-raising years had passed, and have been an active member since then - at local and regional level as executive committee spokeswoman, at federal state level as member of the Bavarian party council. I sit for the Greens on Oberfranken Council. I was 17 when the Green Party was founded, and the party and the way of life it represents have accompanied me throughout my life. My successful candidacy for the Bundestag means I can dedicate myself full time to Green politics. My political work has been enriched by my experience as a freelance social worker. I stand for social policies that never lose sight of people's needs.
