Since 2002, I have been the only Green representative from the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt in the German Bundestag. Within the Green parliamentary group in the Bundestag, I am one of the four whips and am also responsible for the areas of nature conservation and animal welfare. As the Green representative within the Study Commission on Culture in Germany, I also deal with the national and European cultural policy.
